Many have heard of the Royal Wedding joining Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Most are happy, but some are not as excited for this event. They do not necessarily approve of how Prince Harry is marrying an American, former actress, divorcée. In addition, they are to have a wedding so grand that it will top everything else!
Now, to focus on the bride. Meghan Markle will be the first biracial woman to marry into the royal family in almost eighty one years! (Her mother is African American, while her father is Dutch-Irish). Markle retired as an actress to focus on her royal duties. As an actress, she played in several shows, but her big roles were in TV shows Fringe and in Suits. In Fringe, she played Jr. Agent Amy Jessup, and in Suits ( her biggest role ), she portrayed Rachel Zane.
Of course, the wedding is the most important part. It is happening on May 19, 2018. It will be the bash of the century! Kate Middleton and Prince William were joined on April 29, 2011, and Duchess Camilla and Prince Charles got married on April 9, 2009, so technically, this will be the third royal wedding in the century. They are to get married at the St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. Markle plans to walk down the aisle with her father, Thomas Markle, by her side. Her original plan was to have her mother, Doria Radlan, walk her down the aisle, but that is not the plan anymore. The look and style of Markle’s dress has not been shared yet, but it is known that she has chosen her dress to be designed by Ralph and Russo. After they are officially married, they will take a carriage ride through Windsor Town. Next, they will arrive at Kensington Palace where there will be a formal reception that everyone is invited to, and then they will have private reception that is only for close friends and family. At the wedding, Princess Charlotte will be a bridesmaid and Prince George will be the pageboy. It is also most likely that Markle’s best friend’s daughter Ivy (the daughter of Jessica Mulroney) will be the flower girl. Since January, Prince Harry has not even asked Prince William to be his best man! The honeymoon destination has not been shared yet, but it is known that they will be staying at a luxury lodge in Namibia, Africa after their wedding.
Since Markle is about to become a part of the royal family, she has to follow some strict rules. Some of them include: always be modest, no attending any fashion show of any sorts, perfect hair every single day, no playing Monopoly, no painted nails, no makeup whatsoever, no clothing that shows any private body parts, chin parallel to the ground at ALL times, cornflakes and tea for breakfast every morning if you are staying with the Queen, flowers in the room at ALL times, no wearing high heels, always have a clutch bag with you at hand, and finally, no eating garlic or shellfish.
Even though this royal wedding will not be technically “traditional”, it will surely be astonishing!
